Our Story
Created by Students, for Students
Imagination Team was created by Emily Pasillas, a high school REACH Intern, during the 2024–25 academic year. Emily and her team of interns have a passion for creative writing and wanted to nurture and celebrate creativity in young writers by providing a fun, supportive space to explore imaginative storytelling and self-expression.
Through this program, elementary students participate in writing prompts, group stories, and activities that spark their imagination and confidence in expressing ideas.
The Imagination Team inspires a love for creative writing while helping students grow as thoughtful readers, writers, and storytellers. By encouraging curiosity and exploration, we aim to show that writing can be both a skill and an adventure — learning from their peers. The result is a win-win for all students involved.

Session Details
Empowering Creativity & Young Minds
Imagination Team classes are available at Tynes Elementary. Sessions are led by REACH Interns Emily, Evelyn, and Lauren. The program is free to CASA students and has been vetted and approved by the Intern Executive Cabinet, REACH Foundation Board, and key District Leaders.
