Wednesday, May 25: Python - Number Guesser: We will use Python to create a number guessing game. Test your deduction skills against other players to see who can guess the correct number first! Recommended Age: 10+.
Great for our beginner and intermediate coders who are interested in trying out the SCRATCH program through making fun themed games. Learn the basics of coding with our interactive, instructor-led projects. (age 7+)

Thursday, May 19: Scratch - Spring Garden Game: Spring showers bring spring flowers! We'll use Scratch to create a gardening game. Flowers need water to grow, but don't water them too much! Recommended Age: 7+.

Thursday, June 2: Scratch - Beach Day: Summer is finally here! If you can't make it out to the beach, use Scratch to create an interactive game. Pack your bags and sunscreen as we head out to the virtual beach! Recommended Age: 7+.
The 25th Annual exhibition of student art from all the schools in PYLUSD. Watercolors, ceramics, ink drawings, photography, sculpture so many creative materials to express art. Grades Preppy K to 12 displayed. Open to the public , FINAL Days May 10th & May 11th to 8pm.
Placentia- Yorba Linda Middle Schools will meet to compete at Shapell Stadium in Y.L. Track and Field events range from long jump to relay to shot put. This will be the REACH Foundation's 8th year hosting this event.
This is a MUST SEE for Middle & High School students as recent graduates share their backstories on their real life experiences after high school graduation into college, careers and life!
Make a lasting memory for your son or daughter, friend or teacher that appreciates the performing and visual arts. A bronze plaque is placed on the armrest of a seat in the PYLUSD Performing Arts Center.

The Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified School District (PYLUSD) presented Empowered - Women in Industry to a full audience of students and families at the PYLUSD Performing Arts Center. It was an inspirational event geared towards empowering the next generation of female leaders through 21st century learning.
Empowered - Women in Industry offered the opportunity to learn from an esteemed panel of female captains of industry who represented diverse professional sectors.

Our goal is to support and provide learning opportunities for students in Placentia-Yorba Linda school district. We have new afterschool programs this fall through our STEAM Club and are excited to have From the Inside Speaker Series return for it's second year. We look forward to collaborating with community partners to continue to expand our programs and events.
