Since 2014, this event has transformed into something truly magical—a day where students from across the Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified School District come together to discover their potential, break records, and surprise themselves with what they can achieve.
With thousands of students discovering a passion for running, jumping, and throwing, the next Olympic champion might just be lacing up their shoes right here on our field!

REACH Foundation - Empowering Communities
Our middle school coaches and principals continue to raise the bar year after year. Their dedication to training, recruiting, and building a positive team atmosphere is evident in the quality of the students' performances on the Track & Field. Our special thanks to the amazing teams of Coaches, Staff and Admins.
Record-Breaking Statistics:
This year was truly one for the record books:
- Participation: We hit a record 590 registered athletes. Our average of 98 registrations per school is a testament to the coaches’ year-round recruiting efforts.
- Volume: A record-breaking 1,004 event starts, led by the 100m, 200m, and long jump.
- Elite Performance: 5 new records were set, including three in the 1600m by Travis Ranch, a 400m record for Kraemer, and a long jump record for Tuffree.

- Honorable Mention: Kraemer took 2nd place overall (narrowly edging out Yorba Linda by only 2.25 points) and Valadez showed incredible growth in both participation and performance!

Each year PTA's across the district hold Jog A Thons as a key fundraiser for their elementary or Middle School. The REACH Foundation is proud to be a sponsor in each of the Jog A Thons held. Our community partners Golden State Water and Yorba LInda Water District generously donate bottled water for each schools participants. We are happy to see this tradition of encouraging health and fitness continue across Placentia Yorba Linda
