What is the Slingshot Challenge?
The Nat Geo Slingshot Challenge is a global challenge for youth ages 13-18 that is supported by the National Geographic Society (NGS) and the Paul G. Allen Family Foundation (PGAFF). The challenge aims to identify and support the next generation of problem-solvers, advocates, and stewards of the planet.

Our Goal
This challenge helps young people use their voice, their talents, and ingenuity to create solutions to tackle environmental issues. The REACH Foundation's goal is to connect with interested students, provide tailored support and help students achieve their goal in the Slingshot Challenge.

Our Request
- Please share the Challenge with your teachers and friends. Encourage them to register by December 15th.
- Coaches (Teachers) and students can attend 1-3 meetings on Zoom (in late December and January) to learn more about the key success factors.
- Coaches (Teachers) and the REACH Foundation will collaborate to support our PYL students!
As parents, we understand that education unlocks the door to a future filled with possibilities. We encourage families to learn and work together outdoors in nature. In doing so, we plant the seeds that will encourage our children to grow into young adults who are knowledgeable, creative and skilled. They will be prepared to discover, advocate, and implement solutions to improve our world.
