The REACH Foundation, in collaboration with our valued community partners, created the first district-wide STEM-Up Club in the fall of 2020. Our mission is to inspire, enrich and connect students and families across the District's 34 schools and deliver engaging, innovative, and interactive student-centered programs. We encourage students to STAND-Up and TAKE-Up opportunities that inspires, elevates and prepares them for their future. The goal of this workshop is to inspire students to follow their own passions with a “side hustle.” A student’s “side hustle” might be starting their own business or creating a fundraiser for a cause they care about. Participants will draft an action plan in PowerPoint and leave with resources to help them turn their plan into a reality. Grades 6-12

Explore your neighborhood, backyard, patio or inside your home to see what plants and animals you can find. Plants and animals can be found anywhere, even pets or fruits and vegetables in your home are animals and plants. We'll be sharing a link to a Free app-Seek to help identify what you find. Grades 1-12 Registration is now open open
Make a Field Guide in a simple notebook about one of the species you Found exploring your backyard or neighborhood. Write Down Observations and draw a picture of what you saw. Then you are ready to Share your Field Guide with family and friends. Grades 1-12 Registration opens March 3
Inside the Outdoors will take us on a virtual nature hike in Carbon Canyon Regional Park. On the trail, we will identify plants and learn about how humans impact the environment . We will discover the importance of biodiversity and answer questions along the way. Grades 1-12. Registration is open!
