Student artwork from grades K-12 is displayed at the Professional Development Academy once a year in the late spring. Teachers select the student art on display from many different visual art mediums - watercolor, pastels, ink art, photography, wood, metals and fabric.
The exhibit is open to the public.
ArtWorks 2022 was back at the PYLUSD Professional Development Academy in person for an art exhibition that showcased student artists from Preppy-K to high school Seniors. Audra Ross, photography teachers EDHS and PYL Visual Arts Coordinator lead the team of art teachers across the district to curate this beautiful and inspiring collection of art.
The REACH Foundation provided the program financial support and volunteers to assist on opening night which brought in over 400 visitors. In collaboration with the Placentia Round Table Women’s Club, the foundation provided volunteers to supervise ArtWorks over the seven days it was open to the public.
